ERIC CHASE, MR. BILTMORE
Eric Chase plays Mr. Biltmore, the patriarch of the Biltmore family. The wacky father who loves to give his imaginative daughter advice, Mr. Biltmore is an avid astronomer with a love for obscure cheeses. Chase is a New York based actor who has appeared in nearly two dozen plays. He has appeared in several short films as principle cast members. Phill Drew of The Troy Record describes Chase as being “vigorous, dark, and full-blooded as Macbeth”. He has a vast range of talents and the rare ability and commitment to immerse himself completely in a role. Previous films include Dr. Richard Haydn in The Crooked Symphony, and the American Solider in Shelter. Chase is based in Astoria, Queens, and is currently working on projects in the NYC area.
HANNAH ELLIOTT, DOT BILTMORE
Hannah Elliott stars as Dot Biltmore, a wide-eyed young girl with a big imagination. She is super intelligent, an inventor of great contraptions, and host to a slew of imaginary friends. She is quick-witted, adorable, and sly as a fox, using hr amazing creativity to stay ahead of the game. Hannah is currently in 8th Grade student in New Jersey. She is an avid swimmer, surfer, dancer, musician, and actress. Elliott has starred in several plays at Long Branch Middle School, most notably in the title role in the school production of, Seussical. Dot was her first film role. She is currently pursing several film roles, as well as competing in the 2010 Junior Olympics.
CAROL JACOBANIS, MRS. BILTMORE
Carol Jacobanis plays Mrs. Biltmore, a loving yet macabre mother who supports her imaginative daughter but just wants her to do her homework. She is an illustrator of morbid children's books who enjoys weeping willows and thunderstorms. Jacobanis is a renowned voice actress, known for anime dub voice roles. She has worked with several New York-based recording studios including Headline Studios and 4Kids Entertainment. In the mid to late 90's she was the lead singer in the New York based musical group Primrose Hill. Past work has included an appearance on Law and Order SVU and film roles in thesis films for NYU and School of VISUAL ARTS students. Jacobanis is currently based in New York and is pursuing roles on the stage and screen.
ZAC KONSTANDINITIS, MELVIN
Zac Konstandinitis plays the part of Melvin, a quiet boy who follows Bernard around as a sidekick. He helpds his best friend build inventions in the hope of defeating Dot. Zac is a New York native and aspiring actor. His first film role in Brennan Mulligan’s SVA thesis film led to a series of performances on the film and stage. Zac’s performances on Goshen Idol, and in the Middletown, NY Christmas shows have allowed him to develop his appetite for the stage and screen. In addition to acting, Zac loves to play soccer, football, baseball, tennis, and swim.
BRENDAN SOLOVEY, BERNARD AMADEUS RIPLEY, JR.
Brendan Solovey adds life to the character of Bernard, a wealthy boy with a gigantic intellect and a penchant for creating incredible inventions. Dot's rival both in the classroom and on the playground, Bernard is slick, polishd, and ready to win. Brendan loves singing, dancing, modeling, and acting. Trained by Chris McGinn and Cynthia White in East Rutherford, NJ, Brendan has performed theater roles such as Pa in On the Radio, the Conductor in Lights, Camera, Action and Jack in the Bean Stalk for the Bass River Elementary Grammy Awards.
